PROJECT DESCRIPTION
A site-specific installation of a communual picnic blanket, inspired by a collection of objects that resemble the sun. The blanket is made out of 24 pieces that can be attached and detached according to use.
DESIGN CONCEPT
"Everything is made from the sun" – a quote I encountered during a lecture by a Buddhist Monk on finding joy. Inspired by this insight, the collection hopes to bring poeple together to appreciate the beauty around us. The piece hopes to offer poetic perspective on perceiving the world.
